TLC Explorations Inc. (TLCX) to commence drilling and enters negotiations with private exploration company. - Wednesday, November 18 2009
Management of TLC Explorations Inc. (TLCX) is pleased to announce that drill preparation work has commenced on the company’s 100% owned “Vega Property” situated in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp, approximately 130 kilometres east of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Work conducted on the property during the 2008 exploration program resulted in over 115 assay samples averaging .31 opt Au, with some samples over 2.00 opt Au. Work on the property during 2009 included further exploration to determine drill targets based on previous work conducted during the 2008 season.
Diamond drill testing is set to commence during the next week on five (5) drill hole targets, with the first hole to be drilled in the “Vega #1” trench, situated on the south west section of the property.
Management is also pleased to announce that confidential negotiations have commenced with another private exploration company situated in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp, wherein that company, which holds a significant land position adjacent to the Vega Property, has agreed to consider the acquisition of TLCX, subject to acceptance by the majority of TLCX shareholders. The proposed acquisition is set to close December 31, 2009. The proposed amalgamation would result in TLCX shareholders becoming part of an exploration company that, based on the combined land mass of the two (2) companies, would significantly improve the potential value to shareholders in the event of successful drilling on the amalgamated properties.
