Management of TLC Explorations Inc. is pleased to report that detail work has started on its 520 acre gold property, known as the “Vega Occurrence”. The property is situated in the Beardmore – Geraldton gold belt some 220 km northeast of Thunder Bay in north-central Ontario. Since the initial discovery of gold in 1916, 18 deposits throughout the Beardmore – Geraldton belt have produced 4.1 million ounces of gold. The “Vega Occurrence” consists of approximately 40-45 acres of the 520 acre claim, and consists of two (2) long veins; No. 1 Vein and No. 2 Vein. The No. 1 vein is known to be at least 2580 ft. long. Seventy –two (72) test pits had previously been sunk on this vein from 1 to 10 ft. deep. Sixty–nine (69) of these pits were spaced approximately 25 ft. apart and showed consistent findings over at least 1208 ft. This work was carried out during the late 1930’s. Present work on the property will consist of re-examining these pits to satisfy previous reports before determining the size of a drill program. In addition, work is presently being carried out on other areas of the 520 acre parcel, where previous work had shown good gold values.
