Mr. Charles J. Elbourne
President & Director - TLC Explorations Inc. - TLC Resources Ltd. - St. Anthony Resources Inc. - Barton Bay Resources Ltd.
As Founder and/or principal of the above noted companies, Mr. Elbourne has been involved in mineral exploration and underwriting of mining securities for several years. Mr. Elbourne is very familiar with the Beardmore - Geraldton Gold Camp, having been directly involved in that area with St. Anthony Resources Inc., and now TLC Explorations Inc. Mr. Elbourne graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa in 1968. He started his career in the investment industry the following year at Nesbitt Thompson Securities Ltd. in Ottawa, while at the same time continuing with postgraduate studies at the University of Ottawa. Mr. Elbourne completed his Diploma in Management Sciences at the University, including a Masters in Business, with a concentration in Finance. During that time he also completed his course in Securities Analysis from the New York Institute of Finance. Subsequent to many years as a Director and Resident Sales Manager of a national brokerage firm, Mr. Elbourne started his own financial planning firm, Tax Advantages Inc. During that time he also founded C. J. Elbourne Securities Inc. and Greentree Insurance Agency Ltd. Mr. Elbourne subsequently joined Coldwell Banker Pinnacle, a real estate company and was directly involved in commercial/industrial real estate development. Mr. Elbourne is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Markinch Capital Corp., a merchant banking company and Chairman of Markinch Realty Corporation, a real estate development company involved in the hospitality industry. Mr. Elbourne founded and served as a Director and Officer of two publicly traded companies involved in generic pharmaceuticals and the mining industry. Mr. Elbourne is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Business Vacations Inc., a marketing distribution company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Elbourne co-founded and was appointed Chairman of the Board of Business Vacations International Holdings Ltd. (BVIH), based on Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands (TCI). Mr. Elbourne serves as Chairman of BVI Foundation, a private charitable institution involved in the educational advancement of children in those communities in which the BVI Group of Companies is involved.
Mr. Rolando Munoz-Mejia
The President of Advandtel, Mr. Rolando Munoz Mejia, Geologist, will be responsible for designing and implementing exploration programs on the Majagual Concession, TLCX's interest in the Dominican Republic. Mr. Munoz-Mejia is a citizen and resident of the Dominican Republic. Mr. Munoz-Mejia was previously a Professor of Geology, Hydrology, Mine, Mining I & II, Soil Mechanics & Evaluation of Project Term Papers at the Instituto Tecnologico del Cibao Oriental (ITECO). Mr. Munoz-Mejia, started as a Field Geologist, advanced to Technical Assistant Director at the General Mining Office, for the government of the Dominican Republic before becoming a consultant to various commercial mining organizations.
Dr. Colin Bowdidge
Dr. Bowdidge is an advisor to TLCX. He has a degree in geology and mineralogy from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Edinburgh. He has 35 years of practical experience in all phases of mineral exploration and mine development. Most of his career has been spent in Canada, but he has also handled projects in Europe, Latin America and the United States. Over the years Dr. Bowdidge has managed and executed exploration programs in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, North West Territories and Virginia. He has directed explorations for gold, silver, base metals, iron ore and industrial minerals. Dr. Bowdidge has been advising TLC Explorations in the Beardmore/Geraldton camp, and previously was President of St. Anthony Resources Inc., a company that has performed extensive work in the Beardmore area.
Mr. Myron Nelson
An experienced Prospector and Forester, Mr. Nelson has been working in the Beardmore/Geraldton area of Ontario for over 40 years. He brings extensive local knowledge, experience and dedication to TLCX. He has worked at prospecting, sampling stripping and trenching numerous properties for himself and various mining companies over the years with much success. Mr. Nelson has a very good reputation among the companies in the area and has many strategic alliances with mining companies operating across Ontario. He is experienced in matters concerning the Ministry of Mines in Thunder Bay as he has worked on and has optioned many properties in the Beardmore/Geraldton gold camp. |
